Our children are most precious to us. The security and safety of our school children is of paramount importance to us. At Gochar Krishi Inter College, we believe in being a step ahead. We have always had in place a well thought of and planned system of checks and balances for the security and safety of our children. These are upgraded and improved at regular intervals .You will find some of them listed below. Some of the precautions will require your close and patient cooperation but we are confident that as caring parents, you will partner with us carefully in this endeavour to keep your children safe.

• CCTV cameras are installed in school premises and constant checks are made to ensure their proper working.
• CCTV recordings are monitored regularly by the school authorities.
• Headcount of students is all done regularly in all classes.
• Mobiles are banned for students.
• Surprise checks of bags of students are done by authorised people.
• Students are always under supervision, may it be classroom, sports activities or meals.
• A buddy system is in place for the school students while visiting the washroom. No student will leave the classroom alone to go to the washroom.
• There is one female attendant per washroom at all times.
• Maids and support staff accompany the students on school outdoor trips and educational trips.
• Strict segregation of areas during break time for children and staff on duty. No vendors are allowed onto the premises during school hours.
• Teachers strictly adhere to the "no meeting policy" during the school hours.
• Four Tier system is in place for a child leaving before time. Gate pass is signed by class teacher, coordinator, school reception, and checked at the gate.
• Teachers do not leave before the departure of the buses.
• Entry into the school premises must be in compliance with security norms.
• Entry of persons/vehicles is recorded at the school gate by the security guards.
• Entry is not given to any vehicle without the permission sticker and proper verification.
• Efficient communication system is on/in place between the school reception and the school gate guards on duty.
• All visitors are required to fill in the permission slip pro forma. One is handed over to the reception and a copy of the same is detained at the gate.
• Visitors must wear a visitor ID card around their neck for the entire duration of the visit in the school and return it at the gate when they depart. Strict protocol to ensure that the drivers, attendants and other support staff are not given unrestricted access to the school building during school hours.
• Specific areas for the above mentioned persons have been designated and separate toilet and water points have been allocated.
• Well trained female attendants are assigned duties inside the school premises.
• The school is adequately gated and secured with the help of a grilled boundary wall. School audit for fire safety is conducted regularly.
• The administrative staff takes periodic rounds of the washrooms areas, classrooms and open spaces during and after the school hours.
• There are trained counselors to guide and observe the children.
• Training of support staff and drivers is conducted on regular basis.
• Students suggestion boxes are placed all over the school.
• A life skill program is in place to educate our children and the students too are sensitized through the multimedia programs about the concepts of 'Good Touch and Bad Touch'.
